THIS PLUCKER REQUIRES A 20 AMP BREAKER. LIGHT EXTENSION CORDS CAUSE HIGHER ENERGY USE AND LESS MOTOR POWER. ( 14 gauge is required especially if longer than 6 meters)

Method and maintenance

Scald the poultry in hot water  at 60-80 degree. Turn on the machine, and insert the bird.

After 10 seconds spray cold water in the tub to wash away the removed feather.  When poultry appears de-feathered which should take about 30 to 45 seconds remove it from the machine.

You can do more than one at a time depending on bird size.

Attention:

1. Make sure that you have a grounded receptacle or cord. Meaning a complete ground to the main power source.  This is because you are using water the same as a washer.

2. Turn on the power, and check to insure the machine is running smoothly before using.

3. Wash the tub completely after using.

4. Change the rubber fingers when they are broken.  This keeps the tub in balance and does a better, faster job.

5. If the drum slows, it might be the belt slipping. Tighten but not to tight as this allows slippage in case of something getting caught in the tub..
